To boot, so many matches have players twice your size unless you pay to reroll.Put your healthiest hero in the center, your most vulnerable on the ends.Accrue as many of the same color (element) as possible while hitting the same opponents as much as possible.I have beaten several teams stronger than mine with that strategy.When doing level ups, wait until you have a few identical heros to the one you are upping. That increases your special power faster. Always try to at least use identical color and get 10 of them before using them.Higher level attacks win battles. Good hints, but this is pay-to-win game unfortunetelly.

You can train only common and uncommon heroes and they are useless after level 5. Lets train rare heroes later. The number of useful bulding is limited, although i have space for it. Why I cant build third mine on level 7? Why I have to loot lower province to get material for potions and equipment? It is a little boring. What about some trade?

I have dragon bones for nothing. I need crystal shard for example. Paladin Stats

Like the knight class, your primary goal is to deal the max amount of damage with your paladin. With its ability to hit AoE hits, you can consider mobbing a few monsters if you know that they cannot kill you. Damage is your primary stats that you want to focus on.

Heroes and Castles Paladin Skills

We have separate the active and passive skills and discuss them. With this, you should have some basic ideas on what are the good skills to have for your paladin. Compared to knight’s useless skills, the Paladin actually has a bunch of useable skills.

Active Paladin Skills
Shield of Glory: Makes you and all allies around you invulnerable.
This is a godly skill to take out the boss enemies really fast with your support troops. One problem with your support is that they die too quickly against the orc lords that deal massive AoE hits to kill them fast. However, with this skill, you can spam your summons and use this skill to take out the boss.

Miracle:
Instantly heals you and all allies around you.
Like Shield of Glory, this skill is a life safer and can save you a ton of gold. However, this skill is only useful if you focus on summoning the stronger troops. Yet, we find this skill hard to pull off given that sometimes you have to charge into enemy base. This leaves your troops quite vulnerable.

Retribution:
An attack that knocks back, damages, and stuns enemies around you.
This skill sounds good and all, however the damage output from Paladin’s retribution is too low to make it worthwhile. It is far better for you to spend those skill points on boosting your damagestates.

PassiveSkills
Divine Intervention: Heals all nearby allies.
The Divine Intervention is a good way to keep your wall units alive during Coop. By standing around your defense wall, you can pretty much keep them alive. However during solo play, this skill is nearly useless as the healing rate is low at maxed. Only max out this skill if you plan to play a lot of coop.

Holy Vengeance:
Increases the damage done by nearby allies.
Like divine intervention, because you will have to move around in the battle field, the situation makes it hard to take advantage of this skill. However during coop, if you can stand around the castle wall to protect the wall, you can make your ranged units deal so massive firepower. This skill when combined with Engineer‘s Brotherhood, can pretty much make your rifleman one shot kill many of the enemies.

Inspire:
Decreases the cost of units.
This is a great skill to have for you to spam more of your units.

Based on how you are going to play in the game, you may have to build out your skill sets a little differently. Below are some basic guidelines and skill builds that you can use as reference. After the maxed skills, consider putting the rest of the skill points into damage.

Heroes and Castles Paladin Game Play Strategy

Based on your level, you may play your paladin a little differently. At lower levels you will have to fight alongside your troops. Knock enemies down to let your units kill them fast. However, as your level goes up higher, you can essentially walk around to kill enemies monsters on your own.

The strategy is very like the knights. First build out your gold mine, wall defenses. Then you can either go to pikeman or rifleman for your defense. In endless mode however, consider building out rifleman first because your pikeman gets killed pretty quickly. After which you can save up your gold to mass summon cleric. The cleric can heal your rifleman back to health so they survive longer against enemies’ ranged hits.
